"I am floored by our very passionate community that supports our Coalition and attends our signature event year after year,” said Lynn Brewer, President of SWFL Regional Human Trafficking Coalition, “Our organization’s advocacy plan is to educate our local community about the atrocities of this human crime. We are actively bringing awareness to the dynamics of the multi-facet human trafficking issue. For those who have escaped and been recovered from human trafficking, freedom is only the first step to rebuilding our client’s lives and their well-being. The Coalition will connect and provide assistance to those who have been identified as human trafficking victims.”
FLORIDA COALITION AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING Donations go to providing educational programs to all groups – community, hotel/motel, all first responders, healthcare among many including providing mental health partners for the survivors. The Coalition works diligently with partners to raise enough to open a dedicated facility for survivors where they can be safe, be provided with the services they need and to promote them to gradually move back into regular society. Our sole purpose is to work toward lowering the number of human trafficked humans in SW Florida and work with partners to bring traffickers to prosecution.
