As you’re out and about exploring The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel, let your followers in on the fun with these four photo ops that simply demand to be Instagrammed.
A rainbow-colored Captiva Island gem since 1979, The Bubble Room is a psychedelic eatery that’s almost impossible to explain. While an eccentric collection of toys, memorabilia and other vintage décor fills every inch of wall space, one of the most photographed areas is actually outside. Rumor has it, Bo-Bo hasn’t been seen for decades, so it’s perfectly safe to step inside the gorilla’s cage.
Naturally, The Bubble Room’s interior offers quite the picture-worthy prop, as well. While you wait for your table, be sure to take a seat on the Tunnel of Love boat.
You’ll find this next photo op at a popular place called Nervous Nellie’s, which gives The Bubble Room a run for its money in our “most vibrantly painted building” category. Resting along the Matanzas Pass, this Fort Myers Beach restaurant is where you’ll find an enormous piece of photogenic furniture.
This is Cantina Captiva. And as you’ll quickly see for yourself, its claim to fame isn’t only its incredible Mexican-meets-Southwestern cuisine – but an abundance of dollar bills everywhere you turn. Come pay Mr. Washington a visit the next time you’re in town.
